Hotel Transylvania Transformania 2022
Score Hotel Transylvania: Transforminia may be an improvement over the terrible 3rd film, but that's not really saying much. Sure the film does have an interesting concept, and some nice animation. But that doesn't save this film from the terrible story and writing that just rehashes tropes and plot elements from previous Hotel Transylvania films, characters who are either uninteresting, just plain annoying, or even unlikable, a cringe worthy tone of monsters having cellphones and dancing to modern pop culture songs, and finally humor that is mostly very weak and juvenile. Also I have to mention the voice acting here because this film is brings the franchise to a whole new low for the actors! Aside from the annoying Andy Samberg, everybody else sounds like there really bored and are just tired of being in all of these Hotel Transylvania movies! This is also most prevalent in actors like Adam Sandler and Kevin James not returning to the franchise and being replaced by actors who don't sound anything like how the characters used to be! The only really good thing that's keeping me from giving this film the garbage emoji is that thank god this is the FINAL film in this franchise! The franchise was already overstaying its welcome after the 3rd film, so thank you Sony for at least trying to end this mostly bad franchise! Hopefully Sony will actually stick to their word and this franchise can finally be done with and we can move on from it! Anyway I recommend this film to kids and the die hard fans of the Hotel Transylvania franchise, everybody else though this is just not worth your time or money. Yes folks Hotel Transylvania is finally over, but it's definitely for the best here!
